Too many exploration companies work without well-defined budgets for individual exploration programs. As a result, many run out of funds at inopportune times. Many companies that do prepare budgets do not have the communications or workflows in place to maintain up-to-date comparisons of actual spending against budgeted funds. QuickBooks Online provides a simple, flexible budgeting facility which can operate at a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, representing budgets and tracking spending against them for each expense category in the company’s chart of accounts. Through its connection to QuickBooks Online, CampControl can provide this tracking to any CampControl user who has been granted the approriate permissions, and supplements it with costs that have been commited through orders submitted on CampControl which have not yet been entered into QuickBooks.
